Summary

This game should be awarded extra points,or maybe have points docked, for having such a misleading title. Racing simulation, yes. Monaco Grand Prix? Well, that's here too, but there's a lot more to it than that. Seventeen circuits in all, plus some retro options, which we'll come back to.

Select a car from eleven available teams, choose one of twenty-two drivers, and set your car up to your own specification before racing. Set-ups can be changed between races, and as many times as you choose. There are also damage reports to take note of, to give you an indicator of when it's time for a pit stop.

The clincher for this game, though, is the retro mode. Don your peaked leather helmet, and try to control a vintage Vanwall or Bugatti. Be warned, this is not easy, infact it's the biggest challenge in this game, if somewhat frustrating. You really could spend hours trying to master these golden oldies. Well worth a look.
