Summary

Harry and friends are back in the second LEGO Harry Potter game. As the title suggests, this one covers events from the last three books in the series as the good guys shape up to face off with the evil wizard Voldemort once and for all. Taking a slightly less serious look at the stories (but still sticking very much to the plot), Years 5-7 gives players the chance to end the tale their way.

Over 150 characters are collectible in the game, all of whom have their own unique skills. Sure, you can play as anyone from the main cast, but sometimes you'll need to call on some unlikely people – at one point, you'll even get to be Harry's father. As in all the LEGO games, you'll need to collect studs from each of the 24 levels in order to progress through the game, unlocking new characters and freeing friends and colleagues. There's also plenty of video and cutscenes for you to discover as well as the ability to upgrade your magic abilities by attending classes at Hogwarts.

The tongue-in-cheek humour that you'd associate with the LEGO games is in Years 5-7 in spades, often toning down some of the more serious elements of the stories. Whether you're a fan of the books looking to have more fun in the world of Harry Potter or just after a good old fashioned collect-em-up, this is the game for you.
