Summary
The Walking Dead makes a very welcome return with this collection of Season Two of TellTale Games' episodic adventure game hit.
While Activision snaffled up the rights to the TV show to make a horror-themed shoot-'em-up, TellTale went back to the source. Their Walking Dead games are based on the comics that started the cross-media mega franchise. While they're set in that world, however, they very much tell their own story.
Season Two picks up the story of Clementine, an ordinary child searching for safety. Many months have passed since the events of the first season, but she's still all too human in a world of monsters.
The game is pegged as a point and click adventure, but you'll have a better idea of how it works if you think more of Heavy Rain than Broken Sword. Players must talk to other characters and explore the world to find ways to survive in this cruel, zombie-riddled place.
Decisions you made in Seaon One and 400 Days will affect the events of Season One to immerse you in the unfolding narrative, so you'd better hope you were smart!
