Aerea: Collector's Edition - PC

From Triangle Studios comes AereA, an action role-playing game (ARPG) with a melodic twist. It's a game in the tradition of games like Zelda and Torchlight, but its peculiar spin is a musical theme.

As the disciple of the Great Maestro Guido you must explore Aezir, a floating island that has been broken into pieces. Exploration, of course, isn't enough to get you to the end credits. You must also find and return the nine primordial instruments to restore peace and balance to the world.

You pick one of four classes, playing as either as either Wolff the Harp-Archer (ranged), Jacques the Cello-Knight (melee/tank), Jules the Lute-Mage (magic ranged) or Claude the Trumpet-Gunner (ranged with acrobatics). As those four classes suggest, however, there's also the option to get three of your mates involved in local multiplayer co-op.

Collect sheet music to customise your character and style of play, and earn clefines to buy new gear and upgrade your character's skills.

To complement the whimsical theme, the game has a lush and imaginative hand-drawn style sure to appeal to players of all stripes.
