Summary

Once upon a time Jurassic World Evolution would have proudly been called Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, have had Chris Pratt's slapped on the cover and would have been a (let's face it, probably not so good) generic action/adventure game. Fortunately, the world of licensed video games has moved on and this game makes the smart, slightly left field move of diving into the theme park sim genre with seasoned veterans Frontier at the helm.

Yes, that's right. Think Roller Coaster Tycoon, but instead of building roller coasters you're building DINOSAURS. You're in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago and must take on the challenge of building your own Jurassic World. If that sounds like a lot to take on, well... it is. Fortunately, you'll have the voice of Jeff Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcolm to guide you on your way.

Bioengineer dinosaurs that think, feel and react intelligently to the world around them. You can deploy teams around the world to find viable dino DNA, then once you've brought your creations to life it's on you to contain, control and profit from them. That's only one part of the equation, though. You'll also need to create attractions that keep your guests happy and entertained and manage security to keep them alive while you're at it. Take a god's eye view to manage things from above or descend into your creation to get hands-on.

Whatever you do, just remember - life finds a way...
