Golden Axe and Streets of Rage confirmed for Game Boy Advance

Sega of America has announced that it will be bringing the Sega classics Golden Axe and Streets of Rage to Nintendo’s new handheld, the Game Boy Advance.
It is unclear which version of the Mega Drive classic Streets of Rage will go into production at this time. Golden Axe is likely to be a straight port of the near arcade-perfect Mega Drive version.
“The Game Boy Advance will be getting a brand spanking new version of Sonic, simply called Sonic Advance. There are also plans to port over those classics such as Golden Axe and Street of Rage,” said Sega in Official Dreamcast magazine.
It’s a shame for Sega that Final Fight Revenge is already available. Streets of Rage was always a poor man’s Final Fight.
