Summary

Come and play, everything’s AOK, can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Sesame Street Sports for the Game Boy Color is naturally a game aimed at younger players. This sports title features six fun sporting events starring a variety of popular Sesame Street characters.

One game involves shooting the white water rapids with Ernie in his floating bathtub. Players must navigate the treacherous rapids avoiding the rocks and waterfalls.

Second comes Grover, in this game you help the little monster demonstrate his unicycle skills, which is as tricky as it sounds. You’ll need to be careful as it takes lots of skilful balancing technique to ride one of these one wheeled headache machines.

Other games see Little Zoe trying to set a land speed record in her big wheel, while Telly is having some fun in his snow saucer. Cookie Monster is like a hopping jumping bean on his pogo stick and Elmo is happy to dash around the street wearing his super fast roller blades.

In between each event, Big Bird appears to give an up close and personal interview with each of the contestants. Several difficulty levels allow for the game to be as easy or hard as required.

Admittedly, this is far from educational, but when it’s this much fun, does it really matter?
