Summary

Rugrats: Treasure Hunt gives younger gamers the chance to play as one of the Rugrats’ characters in a 3D interactive board game.

The title features the enormously popular Rugrats characters (with the actual music and voices from the TV show) in three different games. A 96MB cart, which randomly generates the board for each game, offers a high replay value for longivity and maintains a high interest level with the target audience.

1-to-4 players can play head-to-head as each baby searches for the hidden toys, or co-operatively to defeat Angelica.

Angelica’s Temple of Gloom – The Rugrats accidentally break one of Stu’s Aztec statues and, as the babies hunt through the Pickles’ house looking for the pieces, they are transported to an actual Aztec temple. The objective is to collect all of the broken pieces before Angelica, the evil Aztecca Queen gets her grubby hands on them. The babies will have to work together to defeat Angelica.
If they fail…

Grandpa’s Sunken Treasure – While playing in Susie armichael’s backyard, the Rugrats babies knock over a table full of valuable jewellery into the pool. The babies’ imagination takes over and they find themselves in scuba gear searching the wreckage of a sunken pirate ship. It is every baby for himself as players attempt to gather as much treasure as possible.

Reptar’s Candy Island – The babies journey back to a pre-a-stork era to help Reptar clean up a big candy mess on Reptar’s Candy Island. Each baby controls his/her Reptar alter ego self. The objective of this fast-paced competitive board game is to be the first to collect a pre-determined amount of candy.
