Summary

What springs to mind when someone mentions Motorhead? Fierce-looking badly-dressed figures and warts 'n' all thunderous noise, that's what. It seems that the folks who christened this game got it absolutely right. They obviously know their heavy metal, the hard stuff that is. None of your poodle-permed, spandex-clad Cinderella nonsense here. This is doomy, gloomy industrial strength rawk! As a game!

Yes, Motorhead rocks so hard and fast, Lemmy would be proud. Initially, there are ten awesomely powerful vehicles on offer here, providing breakneck speed across Europe (poodle alert!) and the United States in locations such as abandoned mines and desolate downtown highways. There are cars to unlock as you progress through the racing divisions, on your way to becoming Transatlantic Speed League Champion.

Split screen mode can cause a little sensory overkill (ha!), but the entertainment on offer is top of the pops. The music is really cool, there's a totally sci-fi gothic atmosphere and some very shady characters herein. It's almost like a night out at Nottingham Rock City.
