Summary

Extreme sport usually equals extremely expensive lifestyle. Don't feel left out though, Sled Storm is here to appease you. You don't have to be a spoiled rich kid to get out there on the white powder with a throbbing cylinder or two between your legs. Just zip up your parka as far as it will go, bounce up and down on the sofa as you play, and you're there. Dude.

Sled Storm is a lot of fun. Yes, it's a bona-fide racer, but after all the PSX race titles have been taken into account, you realise that it's about time someone came along with something that involved something other than cars and motorcycles. Electronic Arts have done just that, and you will thank them for it.

Everyone likes to lose control once in a while, and Sled Storm gives you the opportunity to do so without freezing to death or getting a sore bottom. As you speed across the slippery, snowy courses, the seemingly pure, innocent whiteness will throw you a metaphorical curveball: the unseen ridge. Be careful because, as we are all aware, it's impossible to change direction in mid-air, and you can safely bet that there'll be a bend or corner in the near distance as soon as you take off. The physics are indeed top-notch, and while the graphics can be overpoweringly bright (no yellow snow in this game!), it's challenging and great fun to play, especially in multi-player.
