Summary

To coin an old boxing phrase, the gloves are off. Infact, maybe the people (ir)responsible for ECW Hardcore Revolution have never seen a pair of gloves in their lives. This is a rude, lewd, and yes, crude addition to a growing (or is it festering?) genre.

ECW Hardcore Revolution is one of the most gratuitously bare-knuckled, nay, bare-arsed, violently inclined PSX games I have happened upon. And it's a scream.

Often imitated, never equalled, ECW Hardcore Revolution takes you to hell and back with the most intense hardcore wrestling action the human body can endure. But it's not just wrestling, serious bodily harm can be caused by using items thrown into the ring by the audience, such as staple guns and barbed wire.

ECW Hardcore Revolution features the debuts of over forty stars including Tommy Dreamer and Mike Awesome, real gutter-mouth audience chants, and commentary from ECW's Joey Styles.
