Summary

It's just like he's never been away, but Bond is back again, and this time, as well as bringing all the gadgets, the contents of his legendary garage are on show in 007 Racing.

You take on the role of the dashing secret agent and put yourself behind the wheel of some of the most memorable motors from cinema history, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang aside. The sexy silver Aston Martin and the amphibious Lotus Esprit are just two of the cars you will be able to drive in 007 Racing. Each of the vehicles comes equipped with a complete arsenal of weapons and gadgetry courtesy of the ever-ingenious Q-Branch.

There is nothing as complex as a continuing storyline in 007 Racing. In Missions Mode, you go up against many different Bond villains, but they are not linked to each other or the consecutive missions. As the challenges progress, however, they do get more and more difficult. What is a relief is the fact that 007 Racing doesn't depend on the number of lives you have as Bond. If you fail in a mission, you simply replay it until you make it through. Your rating as an agent may suffer as a result, but the only way to get to the next stage is to perform well. Set in a variety of locations, the missions are inspired by the best bits from the Bond films, and will test your mettle in the art of pursuit, stealth, evasion and surveillance.

In addition to Missions Mode, there are two multi-player modes in which two players can compete. Simply choose a game, Challenge or Pass the Bomb, pick your car and a location to race in, and engage in a battle to find out who is the best Bond behind the wheel.
