Summary

Landmaker is the latest (2000) mind blowing puzzle game to arrive out of Taito’s Research and Development studios. Poised to be compared alongside the likes of Tetris, Columns and Bust-A-Move, Landmaker is a one or two player puzzle game that manages to drain some of the few drops of innovation left in the puzzle genre.

The game takes place on an isometric viewed table. You must slide the cubes given to you down the table and piece them together to create larger cubes, which in turn develop into larger buildings. It's kind of like a puzzle game of Sim City. There are hundreds of varied levels to get your teeth stuck into that get progressively harder to complete, thus, ensuring a stable learning curve is constructed within the game. If single player action doesn’t take your fancy, then you can take on a friend in some fast paced multi-player levels.

Landmaker wont break the mould or set new standards for puzzle games, but it will fit nicely alongside some of the more challenging titles in the puzzle genre.
