Summary
The timely launch of Robinson Crusoe is aimed to cash in on popularity of the current rack of ‘survivor-style’ reality TV shows by introducing Defoe’s shipwreck tale to an already hooked audience.
Seasoned veteran of film and TV Martin Jarvis narrates Tivola’s reworking of Crusoe’s plight. With the melancholy and sometimes-despairing voice of Crusoe accompanying them, young players are invited to follow in the footsteps of Defoe’s classic castaway within a world of breathtaking 360º panoramic views on and around ‘The Island of Despair’.
A visually stunning 3D animated desert island environment has been created where players take on the role of survivor as they re-enact Crusoe’s lonely tale as told through the pages of his daily journal.
