THQ has been partly responsible for the transition of many well known cartoon series into video games. From Rugrats to Rocket Power to SpongeBob, each series of games has been received rapturously by the junior games-playing population. THQ has now introduced an interactive version of the Wild Thornberrys for PC.
Your journey with the Wild Thornberrys will see you traversing many familiar locations that range from steamy deserts to vast jungles in a series of highly addictive mini-games. You will be able to participate as many of the distinct Thornberrys characters within each of the games. You will battle (and hopefully defeat) villains, solve puzzle-based problems and even save the local wildlife. As you progress through the game, you will be rewarded with points which can be accumulated to help you reach stardom at the top of the leader board. Defeat any of the levels within a given time limit and you will be granted bonus points.
Such gameplay sees a return of the old school methods of purely scoring points. You'll be surprised at just how addictive such a system can be.
Wild Thornberrys is an old-style traditional game at heart, but its lots of fun and it offers good replay value.
