Summary

A conversion of last year's PC game, Myst III: Exile on the PS2 delivers part three of the epic point-and-click series to the home console market, guaranteeing adventure fans many absorbing hours in front of the TV. Developed by Presto Studios, the game features five entirely new ages for players to explore, as well as hours of new mysteries to uncover.

Myst III: Exile uses new navigation technology to bring the world alive without losing any of the artistic beauty or interactivity of the previous Myst games. This is achieved via what's known as the free-look movement system, which allows players to pan a full 360 degrees in any location.

Fans will find more of what they loved about Myst and Riven, and also a few surprises. By drawing on the history of the series and new technology, Myst III: Exile is a true evolution of the series, not just a continuation.

In this instalment of the saga, a new villain is introduced - a bitter man whose home world was ruined by Sirrus and Achenar, and who returns to take revenge against Atrus and his family at their most vulnerable time.

The player is trapped in a mysterious age, and must explore the environment and navigate its puzzles to gradually uncover the mystery of this new adversary.
