Summary

Tetris or Columns? Come on, everybody has a favourite. But the good news here is, whichever you prefer, Cleopatra Fortune caters for both playing styles.

Sure, it’s a falling block puzzler like so many others, and even the rules are similar – rearrange combinations of falling blocks in specific patterns to clear them, build a score and continue your game. But no matter how many times this concept is re-used and regurgitated, it’s a winning formula the industry and its consumers will never tire of.

In this instance, combinations of solid blocks and gems fall from the top of the screen. To get rid of them, you must either produce columns of solid blocks or use these solid blocks to completely surround gems or groups of gems. The more blocks you clear, the faster the game becomes, forcing its players to use dexterity and act with instinct.

So it’s all very familiar, but boy, it’s still good fun.
