Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy: The Mis-Edventures - PS2

If you ever watch Cartoon Network, then you’ll be aware of the trio of namesakes that are Ed, Edd and Eddy. The three teenage chums live on the same cul-de-sac, and are always getting into scrapes courtesy of self-proclaimed leader, the manic Eddy. A Bart Simpson-esque figure, you’ll often find Eddy up a treehouse or cooking up stink bomb mixture. Edd is a somewhat more retiring fellow, perhaps due to the fact that he never sees his parents, who prefer to communicate with him via the medium of Post-It note. But he is a gifted child, especially when it comes tom science. As for Ed, well, he’s isn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the box, and is prone to embarrassing skin complaints, but his prodigious strength often comes in handy on their adventures.

The franchise’s popularity has led, inevitably you might say, to Midway taking the series and making it into a videogame. And it translates rather well to the new medium, with the three differently able characters making it perfect for a tag-team style adventure. Ed’s strength allows him to lift objects that the other two could never shift, and of course he can thrown and even smash them if necessary. Edd, as well as using his budding engineering skills to use mechanical devices, and he’s equally adept at putting them out of commission. He also, usefully, has a slingshot that’s bound to come in handy.

Eddy, the mastermind, can always cook up some El Mongo stink bombs, and the three pals can even form, just like Voltron, to create mega combinations like Trampol-Edd, Batter-Ed and the Tower of Eddy. Your adventure, which revolves around obtaining precious jawbreaker sweets, with bring you into contact with plenty of characters from the series. It’s more fun than your average Eds fan would ever dare ask for.
