Summary

The National Basketball Association unlike, for example, the Football Association, encourages groups of six lads (or lasses) to expend energy and up their skill levels with three-on-three games of fast-paced B-ball.

And so does NBA Street Homecourt. In the fourth iteration, while the legends are gone, you get to play against current NBA stars who are split into their home towns – and that’s the core, the heart of the matter. You are playing for real for the honour of your turf (albeit that turf’s all in the USA, but that’s what you expect from an NBA game).

Start your career by creating a player, choosing a hometown, then skilling up so that your homecourt becomes nationally known. Do this by beating other teams, earning points and building your teams skills and abilities up.

It’s fast, furious and then there’s Flight Control for the kind of dunking that really makes for serious street action. The Gamebreaker returns, and the Trick Remixer system gives you even more options to immerse yourself in that hardcore, basketballing bravado.

Graphics and sound have been tweaked up to match the in-game action; with learning curves just paced to take you from beginner to all-star.
