Summary
Rip up the highways and the bi-ways as you battle rival bikers across the United States in this heart-pounding, saddle-rattling thriller, fully endorsed by the makers of the finest American heavy metal, Harley Davidson. There are 20 authentic and lovingly rendered bikes to choose from, including Softails, Street Glides, Sportsters and Fatboys: the earliest example is a 1936 Knucklehead, the most contemporary bike is a 50th Anniversary Sportster.
Tour is the main gameplay mode, in which you select your character and bike and race a series of cross-country tracks against rival bikers for the best time and position. Quick Race is where players select a bike and rider and take part in a single race. In this mode, players can jump into their favourite track for fun or practice without much menu navigation. Tracks become available in Quick Race after they're unlocked in Tour. Time Trial is where players pick a rider and bike and race a single race. Players race against the clock for the quickest time and, unlike Quick Race mode, there are no opponents. You can't unlock any new content in Time Trial mode: tracks only become available after ranking in the top three places in Tour Mode. To add even more variation, there's a Reverse Track feature - a mirror version of all tracks raced.
With point-to-point and lap-based races on offer, as well as some of the finest motorcycles America has mustered over the years, Harley Davidson: Race to the Rally gets your motor running, even if you head out on a virtual highway instead of the real thing.
