Summary

Xiaolin monks versus evil robots! It's well known to be a winning and natural formula. Xiaolin Showdown has monks and robots a-plenty.

Heralding from the popular Warner Bros. Saturday morning cartoon show, this brawler's sure to keep kids on the go happy.

Take a deep breath. Okay, ready? Xiaolin Showdown is a mystical kung fu action-adventure comedy. OK, breathe again. What does that entail? The game follows Omi and his three buddies as they try to protect the Shen Gong Wu, mystical objects of power that could - should they fall into the wrong hands - cause all kinds of nefarious trouble. Life sure ain't easy being a student monk. Out to get the Shen Gong Wu is a nasty little boy genius going by the name of Jack Spicer. As you may well have guessed, he's the chap bringing the evil robots to the table.

There are two modes, 'Adventure' and 'Showdown'. 'Adventure' is the story mode and takes the form of a free-roaming brawler. 'Showdown' drops gamers into levels that have been unlocked over the course of the 'Adventure' mode. It challenges players to battle others for domination in the form of three mini-games: 'It', 'King of the Hill' and 'Keep Away'.

So if you're sick of your kids sitting inside and watching cartoons, send them outside to play video games on the PSP instead!
