Summary

It's time to march into battle in old-school style with Orcs, Skaven and more kinds of Elf than you can shake a stick at. It's Warhammer: Battle March!

In a nutshell, it's Warhammer for folk who can't be bothered to paint miniatures. Those guys, along with folk who can't afford to shell out hundreds of their hard-earned pounds on buying the little things. Or people who are too scared to walk into Games Workshop.

Anyway, the title brings classic strategy to the fantasy playing field in true real-time strategy style. Players will be able to choose from six different armies - the Empire, Chaos, Skaven, High Elves as well as the all-new Dark Elf and Orcs & Goblins forces - each carrying their own features, as they battle for the ruins of a wartorn world.

The focus is squarely on combat, with resource management shuffled to one side as players do their utmost to destroy the enemy. This is a Warhammer game so, as you'd expect, the different units are highly customisable, so you'll be able to have your guys looking as terrifying as you want.

Don't let that scare you off if you're a novice, however. Namco Bandai has included two control options - one for the beginner and one for the master tactician.

Players will also be able to take to the battlefield against other gamers online, with up to four players doing battle at once.
