Summary

This physically challenging, interactive kids' title uses the technology of the EyeToy camera to take youngsters to a state-of-the-art space zoo which has spun into disarray thanks to a speeding comet. Players must put the zoo back in order by catching escaped animals, distracting them while faults are repaired, keeping dangerous beasts away from each other and doing all sorts of other tricky jobs that'll test a zookeeper's speed and skill.

All the action is controlled by motion-sensitive play; there's no room for couch potatoes at the Astro Zoo! Sitting in front of the TV and hitting buttons on a controller won't rescue these creatures; it's all done via the EyeToy USB camera, which controls the game by capturing the motion of a player's body in real time and translating it into commands, allowing them to interact with the game through movement alone. The EyeToy camera puts the player's image onto the screen - transforming them into the game's main character and making play energetic and intuitive from the start. A correctly timed and coordinated motion by the user translates to a successful action in the game - delivering instant satisfaction and keeping kids entertained for hours.

The fifth game in the blockbuster EyeToy: Play series, Astro Zoo moves away from earthbound sports of last year, to a futuristic, cartoon setting that children will love. The Astro Zoo features 37 different species of animal from anacondas to zebras. Put their home back in order either solo or with a friend - it's the first time that co-operative play has formed a key part of the gameplay in an EyeToy: Play title making it even more fun for families! The light-hearted, laugh-a-minute storyline will keep kids involved and coming back for more, and each adventure unlocks several extra mini-games upon completion for added value. It's fun; it's fast; it's furry (or scaly or slippery and sometimes scary) - welcome to the Astro Zoo.
