Summary

We all know that the Nintendo DS is a magical piece of engineering, yes, but the Japanese genius feels compelled to ram the fact home with Magic Made Fun, not so much a game as a piece of 'teach yourself mind-blowing tricks' software. Firstly, DS owners learn how to perform incredible magic and card tricks thanks to the little handheld that can seemingly do anything. Then, the console acts as an assistant as budding magicians perform for others. There is a pack of cards included in the package, and once users learn how to secretly read them...well, the Magic Circle possibly awaits.

Magic Made Fun includes step-by-step tutorials on 20-plus different tricks, allowing wannabe magicians to master the nuances of performance in private before going public and showing their mind-boggling skills. The various tricks use all facets of the DS: magicians will draw faces that speak the name of the audience's card, or audibly instruct a dog to fetch a selected item. Some tricks require audio commands too. There are also several solitaire games for those waiting periods between performances.
