Summary

Who would have thought that everybody's favourite German-British physicist and TV presenter, Professor Heinz Wolff would be responsible for bringing the joy of science to Nintendo's handheld? Well, most people with any sense would because the mix of the Prof's excellent presentation skills, the DS's control system and mini-games, a main task, plus the sandbox in which to create your own levels is an ideal combination.

The main task comes in the form of 100 levels within which you have to use the wonders of physics (with help from the Teutonic academic) to navigate objects along a track to the 'A' button. Sounds simple? Well, of course it isn't. Your tracks will include obstacles and - as the name suggests - gravity makes itself felt. There's nothing hokey about this though, as all the physical elements work exactly has they should in real life. It will, however, tax your brain and test your intelligence.

The mini-games are many and varied and involve ensuring that various objects and materials don't, well…get destroyed by the power of nature (think winds, earthquakes and the like). There are also multi-player challenges to be had.

The sandbox levels (there are 20 of these) enable you to work up your own structures and test them against reality - think LittleBigPlanet put in the classroom.
