Summary

Every guy wants to be a white knight to a fair lady at least once in his lifetime. Leonard gets his chance to do the very same in White Knight Chronicles, where he tries to protect Balandor's princess from capture by the evil Wizard corporation. In doing so, he comes across a suit of armour that transforms him into a literal White Knight.

Proud, powerful and seven metres tall, the White Knight can kick some considerable behind, and is the key element to this traditional-style Japanese RPG. Once Leonard transforms, he embarks on a fantasy experience like no other, taking on the Wizard corporation's forces and other fierce enemies along the way.

The single-player mode consists of a huge world full of strange, mythical beasts and crazy creatures bent on defeating you. With a world so huge, you can travel back and forth to places you've already been to for convenience. The battle system is a real-time affair, allowing you to initiate pre-selected combat commands and switch between them for when new tactics are required mid-match.

Although you only control one character at a time in your party, this is not at all a problem in the other large mode in White Knight Chronicles – the online multiplayer, Georama. You can create your own town from this mode and invite friends to visit. Through this system, you can also arrange teams of four players to tackle various side quests together and increase your guild rank!
