It seems like everywhere you look there's a new Sims game popping out of the woodwork. Nintendo platforms, with their family-friendly style and immediate accessibility, seem to become the destination of choice for the titles.
The latest is MySims Party. The game keeps the style and ease of entry that characterises the Sims franchise but jettisons many of the familiar tenets of the series such as customisation and building relationships to make way for a selection of party games that spans a variety of genres.
The DS version of the game enables players to pick up the action and take it with them anywhere they go. The bite-sized mini games make the game ideal for devouring on the train, bus or... at a boring party, if you fancy it.
The games, designed specifically for the DS, include the chance to dig around in the muck for dinosaur fossils in Excavate-a-Saurus, join Goth Boy in blowing away ghastly ghouls in a first-person shooter mission, Haunted Hunted, or just rock right out with Air Guitar Star.
Rest assured, with 40 mini games to choose from, there's sure to be something for everyone.
