Summary
Looking for a massively multiplayer online game for you and your family without having to worry about any vulgar language or obscene content? Well, as with pretty much all problems in life the solution lies in the Danish block-building toy company LEGO. As a heroic virtual toy figurine, LEGO Universe allows you to customise your characters as you see fit to prepare for an epic intergalactic journey that hopes to restore harmony to all that you know.
Years ago, a team of LEGO minifigures went on a quest to discover the last essence of pure imagination, you see. But after Baron Typhonus found such energy, he created a giant spider which soon went amok and ended up using the Baron to create a dark force known as the Maelstrom. The Maelstrom's a nasty piece of work, really, and can transform minifigures and creatures into horrible, evil Stromlings.
As a member of the Nexus Force, it's your job to defeat the Maelstrom and bring order back to the universe. To do this, it has split into three factions, each with a unique ability: the Assembly (building), the Sentinels (combat) and the Venture League (exploring). A fourth faction, called the Paradox, is dedicated to research on the Maelstrom to discover weaknesses.
Go on huge missions with friends around the world and be the LEGO hero you always wanted to be in LEGO Universe!
