Summary
Based on the French animated series of the same name, Galactik Football follows the adventures of the Snow Kids, a futuristik football team from the planet Akillian. The game is exclusive the Nintendo DS.
Using your DS Stylus, you control the Snow Kids as they attempt to win the Akillian equivalent of the World Cup. Unlike terrestrial footballers, the Snow Kids have access Flux powered moves, which tap into the energy of their planet. They can combine these super Flux-powered moves with traditional football skills to unleash devastating attacks on their opponents.
Fans of the TV show will recognise their favourite players and teams from the show, as well as the arena's the games are played in.
In single player mode, once you've selected your team, you must battle through qualifying and knockout stages on your way to victory. The more, and the better you play, the greater your Flux power will become. With increased Flux-power comes greater attacking skills and better defending prowess. With winning comes rewards, as you progress you'll unlock new strip for your team, more stadiums to play in and new balls and logos to enable you to customise your team.
In multi-player mode, you can challenge your friends to a game in Netherball mode and play one on one grudge matches, or you can team up and play co-operatively.
