Summary
Take control of a grand colony expedition, as Light of Altair draws you into space and through an extensive plot to place your stamp on countless worlds. As a player in this sci-fi colony management experience, your task is to ensure the survival and prosperity of your people, and expand your reaches to the far corners of the universe.
Along the way you'll find many other factions from different parts of the world undertaking their own space colony programs, so as a leader you have to be level-headed, and be an expert in both diplomacy and space-combat for when things go wrong.
On your colonised asteroids and planet you'll find resources which will help you to grow your colony from little landing units into massive cities, and sending off new spaceships to grow even further will help complement your colonial empire. Light of Altair includes some extensive graphics in a custom-built 3D engine, which allows you to zoom all the way from galaxies down to the last colony dome.
The game boasts a detailed storyline based on a future-history of Earth, which will contain many different plot elements that will satisfy even the most ardent sci-fi fan. And with a detailed high-tech weapons and buildings tree spanning 30 different items to put together, Light of Altair is a strategy game that ticks all the right science fiction boxes.
