Summary

Team Ninja does nothing if not deliver some interesting Japanese takes on the world of adult video gaming. This PSP outing sounds as if it should be a serious hunting, spying, stealth action title. It isn't. What it is, is a splinter from the Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 game seen on Xbox 360.

Instead of stealthy secret agents, you get girls in bikinis playing a variety of beach-based mini-games such as the classic Beach Volleyball of the 360 version.

There is, however, some plot. All the girls live on an island called New Zack Island where the dress code is sparse. Well, really that's where the plot stops. The player's role in all of this is to control the playable characters as they play pool, go pool hopping, play blackjack, slots and - of course - volleyball. They also get to play in the casino.

The player also has to make friends with the girls in order, once a camera has been purchased, to take photographs of them. Once this has been achieved and the girls are friendly towards the player, they will share pictures (Venus shots) that can be edited. Of course, this also means that the player must earn the local currency 'the Zack' in order not only to afford the camera but also gifts to give to the girls in order to gain their affection.

Basically, we have a mini-game focused video game aimed squarely at the male game player who wishes to have a fun while testing his reactions in the sporting elements.

To give you a head-start, the playable girls are called: Kasumi, Ayane, Hitomi, Kokoro, Lei Fang, Helena, Lisa, Christie and Tina. And a great deal of fun is there to be had by all.
