Summary
SpellForce returns with its magical tomfoolery and fantastical shenanigans, for a whole new era of strategy role playing. Faith In Destiny is a substantial update to the SpellForce 2 series – using the same engine as previous titles as a base, JoWood has added new features to bring the action into the 21st Century.
Modern shader effects better present the world of Eo and the foreboding atmosphere that comes with this game's new threat. Mysterious forces arise from the shadows and threatens to plunge the land into darkness and despair. As an army commander, with the Shaikan blood flowing through you, it is your duty to see off this strange new race and save Eo as you know it!
Along with controlling individual heroes, you have the power to raise powerful armies and call on the help of several allies that will help you complete each mission. New non-playable characters can be found in SpellForce's enchanting world, as well as returning favourites such as Professor Twiddle.
With the threat to Eo comes new spells and army units to expand and build your offensive like never before. Unexplored lands become available to you, complete with their own environments and buildings. On top of this are tweaks such as the ability for the Avatar to ride dragons – making for the most comprehensive edition of SpellForce to date.
