Summary
It’s time for more of the classic survival horror genre with Bracken Tor: The Time of Tooth and Claw. The game – from developer Shadow Tor – is set in an ancient land of dark foreboding moorland where an unnamed beast rips livestock, and maybe more, to ribbons in an apparent bloodlust. All of this occurs beneath the Bloodmoon.
But then an innocent hitchhiker is discovered, murdered and bloody, mutilated by the terrifying force.
Given that the dark land had previously hunted its dangerous beasts to extinction, the player must discover whether the fearsome breed has returned as one final terror… or in force.
In this adventure, the player must camp out – under canvas – on the moor looking for clues and staying alive! The gamer has one night to solve the mystery and to use the journalistic skills the character has been imbued with.
Explore the rock formation known as Bracken Tor; its unexplainable glowing lights and more to discover and survive the Bronze Age terrors. The gamer must unearth the keys to understanding who those ancient people defeated the blood ravening beasts using ‘the Old Ways’. This is achieved via puzzle-solving, investigation, occasional brute force and clever thinking. That is, of course, if they survive the Beast!
