Everything looks better in 3D. It’s a fact. And after Chuck Norris and Mr. T, the best thing in life when it comes to epic fights are dinosaurs. Dinosaurs rock. So it makes sense that Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs is one of the first to take advantage of the stereoscopic effects of Nintendo’s 3DS handheld.
Following the success of the previous games in the series - and building from the Dinosaur-specific edition on the DS - this battle-adventure game immerses the player into an exciting 3D Jurassic world. Just as in its spiritual predecessor, Dinosaurs 3D lets players customise their very own prehistoric beast before unleashing them into the world of predators.
18 breeds are available - ranging from T-Rex, Stegosaurus and Velociraptor among others - along with 30 colour options and six different stripe patterns. As you play the game and use unlock codes, you can add an additional 28 creatures to your roster, making for a truly deep dino-battling experience.
As well as fighting rivals using the intense attack/counterattack system, you can unlock all kinds of bonuses simply by exploring the world and interacting with other creatures. Collect bones and other items to learn cool new facts, and experience life in the prehistoric era against three different natural disasters. Trade items you find with your friends and engage in multiplayer battles, to see who really is the best Dinosaur raiser!
