Summary
Zombies meet racing cars. That’s about the size of it.
Yeah, okay, there’s more. The gamer has to race against the clock in order to save the poor inhabitants of a city over-run by cursed zombies.
This mostly entails racing through the city, smashing obstacles and using loads and loads of weapons of different kinds to beat your way through the zombies.
There are several modes including:
Story mode, which includes 17 missions, sub quests as well as bonus objectives in the sandbox environment of the city itself.
Blood Race Mode – this has 30 individual events in arcade mode using three game types: Race: your basic arcade racing but with guns… and zombies. Eliminator: take out opposition vehicles against the clock. Endurance: the gamer races through the checkpoints before the bomb in their car explodes.
Then there’s Slaughter mode featuring six arenas in which the gamer must be the last man standing. With eight different cars from a sports car to a school bus to choose from and to be upgraded in nine different ways, each mode has a wealth of possibilities. These possibilities also include car-mounted miniguns, flamethrowers, rocket launchers or even dual railguns.
