Summary
Clones is a puzzle game that follows in the footsteps of the legendary Lemmings series – except without the suicidal intent.
The gamer can team up with others in a fully-developed internet-multiplayer system or they can play in the single-player mode. This latter option comes with more than 150 different puzzles to conquer featuring some 11 CloneMaster Bosses that have to be beaten in order to continue to the next stage. All of this is played over five distinct ‘regions’ or environments on the Clones planet.
Included in the puzzle solving are power-ups to gain in order to progress and post high scores to the online leaderboards for all to see.
The Multiplayer modes include Internet and Local Area Network with up to 16 players playing in eight colourful groups.
Once the main games and bonus levels are completed the level editor comes into its own for players to create their own play spaces. This works along with the Avatar creator with with which the gamer can customize their own personal clone.
