Set in the fictional Middle Eastern country of Azbaristan, Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters aims to provide console and PC gamers with the most detailed war-based flight simulation possible. The once great nation has been gripped by a decade long civil war between the Northern People's Republic and the Azbaristan Democratic Front as they tussle over the small nation's oil reserves and full control of the state. Only one man can hope to bring the opposing forces together.

Taking the role of Razor, a squadron leader guiding the attempt to reunify the country, Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters offers players the chance to fly thirty licensed fighter jets over sixteen huge story-based missions. Intense battles take place over huge areas of Azbaristan as you attempt to hold the country together while protecting the interests of the western world.

As well as the single player mode there's a full co-op campaign available for two to four players. Multiplayer is also catered for with sixteen prospective pilots taking to the skies in huge dogfights. Taking control of some of the latest jets available from the world's greatest air forces, no matter how you play you'll experience war in naval, aerial and ground-based theatres.
