Summary

Crash Time 4 is a racing game without the need for gamers to have the tight technical ability and knowledge of many of the more serious driving sims on the market.

It comes with more than 40 fully customisable, fully destructible cars and enables single-player story mode as well as multi-player modes for online and local play, featuring up to eight players at one time.

In story mode, Crash Time 4 uses action sequences in combination with realistic in-game driving as the gamer takes on the roles of two top detectives who must hunt down members of a ruthless crime syndicate. This is set in an open world city. It makes use of five different scenarios: Highway, Harbour, Forest, Valleys and Police training facility.

Crash Time 4's (up to) eight-player modes via either online or via split screen are played out head-to-head in 40 different high speed cars on a wide variety of detailed tracks and variable terrains.

All this is played out – in single and multiplayer with five game modes: Campaign, Single Mission, Time Attack, Crash Haste (stop the criminals) and Rush Hour (race through the traffic). Each of these is broken into eight mission types including: race, locate a suspect, pursuit, escort a vehicle, avoid damage and stunts, using a wide range of upgrades and weapons including spike strips, nitrous and armour.
