Summary

You’d think, after spending his time in the Castle of Illusion on the SEGA Mega Drive, that Mickey Mouse wouldn’t want anything to do with that place ever again. Well, unluckily for him, in Disney: Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, the big-eared mascot is forced to return to the creepy castle in order to put a stop to evil witch Mizrabel once and for all.

But, luckily for everyone else, the result is an old fashioned platforming game on the Nintendo 3DS that pays loving tribute to one of Disney’s most critically acclaimed Mickey titles. This time, the Castle of Illusion has fallen into an alternative universe called Wasteland, which is something of a resort for forgotten Disney worlds and characters.

But Mizrabel doesn’t want to be in Wasteland - so she plots her escape, using the castle to imprison and drain the cartoon essence from toons still relevant today. Mickey must use his magic paintbrush and take advantage of the paint and thinner powers he possesses to stop her plan from succeeding.

Players can use the stylus to draw objects on the bottom screen that can transform into Disney-style 2D illustrations - as if by magic! These creations then get moved to the top screen where they morph into 3D objects.
