Summary

Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force sees our heroes doing what they do best in their classic third-person, over the shoulder view. That is to say that the there is both single and multiplayer quirky action, puzzle solving, exploration and mild combat to be had.

Captain Qwark - the founding father (along with Ratchet and Clank) of Q-Force and one time president of the galaxy needs to find something to do with his time since he is no longer president of the galaxy. He’s decided that Q-Force must get back together to do... something heroic.

Regular players of the highly successful Sony series will know that Q-Force usually does battle with Dr Nefarious. But now the Q-Force has a brand new enemy to face, and it’s an enemy that has Captain Qwark in mind.

Players familiar with Tower Defence games (such as Plants vs Zombies) will also be familiar with the mechanics of Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force. So, rather than having the level design familiar to previous Ratchet and Clank games, the player must fight waves of enemies.

Yes, Grungarian Marauders keep coming as our heroes fight to defend the Captain online and off with a variety of weapons and strategies. As expected from a defense title such as this, each of the enemies has different powers and different weapons that must call on different defensive strategies.

Multiplayer can be played out in the safety of the gamer’s own screen or can be taken to the Internet for the first time since Up Your Arsenal.

The game is also Cross-Play compatible and is a major part of the Cross-Buy system that sees Vita and PS3 versions sold as part of the deal.
