Summary

7 Days to Die, the PC smash hit that has had over 1.5 million gamers fighting for their lives, has come to consoles.

Inspired by the likes of the Fallout series and Minecraft, the game has players fight and craft to survive in a landscape riddled with the undead. The game combines first-person shooting, tower defence, survival horror and role-playing elements, offering up a mix of crafting, combat, looting, mining and exploration. In a nutshell, 7 Days to Die drops you in an open-world and leaves it up to you to decide how you will survive.

It's a harsh environment and you're dropped into it with almost nothing - not even clothes. You'll need to scavenge, craft and hunt just to gather the things you need to survive. You'll need to fend off the elements, hunger and thirst, not to mention the wild animals that can smell your vulnerability. That's not the worst of it, though. The undead are abroad. By day they shamble around, slow and easy to kill. By night, though, they become fast-moving killers set on devouring your flesh.

From your humble beginnings you'll be able to progress, building a home and eventually a fortress, crafting the weapons and tools you'll need to exist in this brutal new world.

You don't have to go it all alone, though. You can draft in a friend through split screen or online play. Don't think for a moment that you'll ever be truly safe, though...
