Ron Jones composes rousing original themes and dynamic underscore for interactive entertainment, TV, film, records and live performance. He is an award-winning composer with a rich background and extensive track record for writing top quality music to moving picture. Having composed for numerous animations and TV shows his music is regularly broadcast on the major US networks and cable television (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and Nickelodeon). He brings a deep understanding and pioneering compositional skill-set to electronic and live orchestral scoring for animation and computer game soundtracks.
In interactive entertainment he has contributed to two best-selling Star Trek PC CD-ROM games, providing orchestral scores for Interplay's Star Trek: Star Fleet Command and Star Trek: Star Fleet Academy, one of the earliest games to feature a fully live orchestral soundtrack.
Ron Jones's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" (PC) as Musician/Sound Effects.
Ron's most recent involvement was as Musician/Sound Effects on the 2000 release "Star Trek: Starfleet Command" (PC).
