Andy Findlay's first foray into the industry was together with Ed Campbell under the name The Warp Factory. Working as a freelance programmer, the focus in the early days was on the Amiga and Atari ST platforms. Harlequin was the first notable title from Findlay and friends, and Gremlin Interactive were keen to get The Warp Factory on board for more titles. While Madness for the Megadrive remained unreleased, 1994 witnessed the sequel to Zool. One year later, and fully installed at Gremlin, Andy was given pretty much a free reign to come up with a football game. The influential Actua Soccer was the result. More footy came with the advent of Euro 96 on PC and Sega Saturn. Shortly after this, Andy decided it was time to head back to Glasgow to form Red Lemon, a dedicated development studio.

PC is Andy's platforrm of choice and his favourite game is the N64's Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

Andy Findlay's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1988 title, "Battle Bound" (ST) as Lead Programmer.

Andy's most recent involvement was as Project Leader/Producer on the 1999 release "Braveheart" (PC).
