Lee is a former freelance writer and illustrator and is the author of the Aliens: Colonial Marines Technical Manual (Boxtree/Macmillan, 1996). He worked in magazines, illustration and fashion design before joining the games industry. He is a designer of simulation games, working on paper-based (boardgame) designs. Current projects include Birds of Prey, a paper-based air combat simulation being developed as an officer education tool.
Lee Brimmicombe-Wood's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1998 title, "Xenocracy" (PlayStation) as Game Design.
Lee's most recent involvement was as Game Design on the 2002 release "Halcyon Sun" (PC).
