Rayman 2: The Great Escape - N64

Look in horror at what the pirates have done to Rayman’s world. They’ve taken everything and enslaved everyone including our hero. Their robots roam the land capturing anyone they can find. They have even exploded the heart of the world, scattering the 1000 Lumz of energy everywhere. The only way to save the planet is to rescue the energy Lumz, defeat the evil pirates and then once again harmony will return. Rayman for the Nintendo 64 is such a colourful and well designed game. It carries on the tradition of games like Super Mario 64. Rayman looks like an interactive cartoon! The amount of variety between the levels helps create a rich environment. Especially if you have the expansion pack installed, the extra resolution makes things look more solid. Luckily our hero is very adept and has a lot of different skills at his disposal. Rayman can swim, float, climb, ride and shoot. A nice feature of Rayman is the humour, there are several set pieces to amuse you and your friends. There are over 20 varied worlds to explore. So it’s up to you whether you just want to complete the game or take your time trying to find the secrets and hidden worlds. Rayman definitely comes recommended, there is plenty here to keep you playing and playing. more
